At Your Door
"It's all in the approach", so goes the familiar phrase. That's something to consider when speaking about the Hawaii-based NOMASTERBACKS crew. Consisting of the emcee trio of TEMPTER T. WELL. (BEING) & WADE, and backed by KID KOAK on the turntables, NMB approaches hip-hop from a perspective equally fresh and positive. Along with their local Lightsleepers family, NMB aims to prove that Hawaii hip-hop is indeed a force not to be ignored.

A fixture in the Hawaii underground hip-hop scene, NOMASTERBACKS has spent the last decade putting in work, releasing five classic independent albums, embarking on two extensive West Coast tours and rocking venues across Hawaii. 'At Your Door' is NMB's first release on CommonGround Records and feaures production from some of Hawaii's hottest hip-hop producers including RACE, JOE DUB, SENTRIC, FYBES and KRIS KANOHO. The album also features guest collaborations with label mates ONE GROOVE.

"At Your Door" was produced by Kris Kanoho (One Groove) and mastered by John Cuniberti (Tracy Chapman, Lyrics Born, Joe Satriani), Hard beats, conscious lyrics, a positive message and zero profanity - NOMASTERBACKS may prove to be Hawaii's best-kept secret as they explode onto the scene July 17th.
